Federico Uribe is an artist who lives and works in Miami, Florida, creating pencil sculpture and pencil “paintings”.Federico was born in Bogota, Colombia and studied art at the University of Los Andes in Bogota. Upon graduating, he worked and studied in New York, Cuba, Mexico, Russia and England before settling in Miami.Federico’s pencil paintings are composed entirely of sharpened, unsharpened, whole and broken pencils.

The exhibition is famous for having waxwork figures that do not look like their subjects.The museum features 150 models including David and Victoria Beckham, Samantha Fox, Cliff Richard, Paul Gascoigne and most of the royal family.Husband and wife Peter and Jane Hayes have run the museum since 1955, and the couple fear they will have to close the business if nobody wants to take it on.Some visitors have revealed that they are willing to travel from far and wide to poke fun at the models.

Stacey Lee Webber – artist from Philadelphia, who creates amazing masterpieces from simple … coins! Stacey says that she “comes from generations of workers, people who worked in the corn fields, the printing presses, in trucks and construction sites. I appreciate the physical labor and I am proud that I can follow footsteps of those workaholics, using the work of their hands every day. I create objects from coins, which are the symbols of American workers. Take a look at some coin – they are full of scratches, abrasions, traces of old and “worn” Abraham Lincoln, and all this shows is that these coins have gone through thousands of hands. As a result, when such coins are merged into a single work of art, they give the product of history and atmosphere of triumph. ”
